On the way back to Berlin. I’ve got Nikon liaising with Higher Authorities and I’ve packed emergency Thai-style Cheesy Wotsits (they’re not the same…)

Darling! Sorry for having to dash and so dash our symposium to the four beer-barreled winds, but Natwest had been worrying Ma about my card all day and I had to get back to sort it. Thankfully, all well. Thank God for the efficiency of the professional classes, eh? Hope you have great night with Mark tonight – and are we still on for tomorrow evening? I’ll be free after 7pm Mass and suggest we liase tomo sometime. And let’s get M along too! Would be delicious to see him!

Hope you got back ok and that your flat is now dry. Hasn’t this been going on for years now??
Is it still summer in Berlin? I think, yet again, summer missed Britain. We had a week in France which was warm and relaxing and that seems to be that for having a summer.
