Welcome to my blog on WordPress.com! I’m planning to provide regular reports (in two languages, if possible) of my trip to the LOS – so CREATE THAT BOOKMARK NOW and be sure to check back from time to time to catch up on the latest installment.
I’m entering the final few days before my departure, and am starting to feel rather strange, as if an era in my life is about to come to an end. Maybe it is.

In wenigen Tagen werde ich in Asien sein, und ich fühle mich im Moment ein bißchen merkwürdig. Vielleicht wird alles bald ändern – wer weiß?

Darling,
How too, too extraordinary to be doing this chat thing with you over the ether. It feels a bit like doing speed whilst writing a poem. Except not, quite. But I have keine Ahnung how to “bookmark”. Is this a subtly subversive attempt to introduce notions of traditional literary scholarship into the gawping splurge of post-text modernity? Am I trapped in a Kafka screenplay? Or in Coronation Street? Depends on whether there’s any cute boys in Kafka, really. There certainly are in Corrie. As in Starbucks! Have a FABULOUS time, darling.
